Finish the Mission Veteran Relief Fund provides support for a wide variety of needs. We typically collaborate with Kent County Veterans Services to determine the most effective ways to offer help. Finish the Mission Veteran Relief Fund also works closely with other partner organizations that provide information, support, and services to veterans and their families, including West Michigan Veterans Coalition, Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency, and Grand Rapids Vet Center.

Include in your email:
• What is the best way to contact you? Indicate email, phone/text, or USPS.

We’re always looking for more collaborative partners.
We collaborate and partner with local organizations to form a “safety net” approach. We provide additional protection for local veterans from hardship and loss in areas not covered by traditional means. Some of our partners include:
- Kent County Veterans Treatment Court
- West Michigan Veterans Coalition
- Blue Star Mothers of America
- Mustard Seed Ministries
- Inner City Christian Federation
- Grand Rapids Home for Veterans
- United Veterans Council of Kent County
Some of our collaborations have allowed us to:
- Assist with car and home repairs, including replacing the roof and repairing the interior plumbing of a local vet’s home
- Provide family crisis airline travel and lodging
- Cover the cost of medical procedures and prescriptions
- Provide utilities, rent, insurance, and other living expenses to bridge financial hardship gaps
In 2021, we have already helped a veteran with mortgage payments stopping foreclosures, funded Boy Scouts events and flags that honor and remember our local veterans, contributed to Art Prize projects and expenses for veterans and Kent Country Veteran Services, and made two deliveries of “wish list” items to the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans.
